Batman: Arkham Origins is a video game that was developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for consoles of PlayStation 3 , Wii U , Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows . Based on the superhero of DC Comics Batman , is the successor to2011 video game Batman: Arkham City and the third installment of the series Batman: Arkham . It was released on October 25, 2013.
Arkham Origins separated the development of the creators of the series Rocksteady Studios , and is written by Corey May and Dooma Wendschuh . The main story of the game unfolds several years earlier than Batman: Arkham Asylum and follows a younger and less refined Batman who has a reward placed by his head for the crime lord Black Mask , attracting eight of the most murderous Dead in Gotham City on Christmas Eve. The game is presented from a third-person perspective with a focus on combat and stealth skills, detective skills, and Batman artifacts that can be used in both combat and exploration.
