Assassin's Creed III: Liberation is an action- adventure game produced and published by Ubisoft , initially exclusive to the PlayStation Vita console. The Sony announced the game at its press conference during the Electronic Entertainment Expo in June 2012. It was released on October 30, 2012 along with Assassin's Creed III , and both are intertwined.

Initial criticisms of Assassin's Creed III: Liberation were generally positive. The Metacritic site , which gives an average score based on professional reviews, gave the game a score of 70/100, based on 71 reviews.

Synopsis
Liberation takes place in New Orleans , between 1765 and 1780, in the time line between the end of the Franco- Indigenous War and the mid- American Revolution . The game follows the story of Aveline de Grandpré, an Assassin woman of African-French descent. Aveline is recruited to the Brotherhood of the Assassins by Agate, a fugitive slave, who acts as his mentor. The plot develops around the cultural practice plaçage where rich French and Spanish men arranjavam marriages with women of African descent, Indian or Creole, allowing these women and their children to gain power and prominent positions in society.
